Here is some information in case you are considering employing me.

What is abs1nthe?  It's my personal playground where I'll share with you random thoughts in my head.

Why "abs1nthe?"  When I first started chatting on the internet I was looking for a name that I could remember, but would still be unique.  I thought of "absinthe," a word I really like.  To my chagrin, the damn thing was taken by someone in the chatroom.  So, I substituted the "1" for the "i" so that I could still use the word.  So now you're stuck with "abs1nthe" instead of the easier to type "absinthe."

But why absinthe at all?  Because it describes the nature of this site.   Absinthe is a drink banned in most countries because a component of it supposedly deteriorates your central nervous system.  Just like the drink, if you have too much of this site your brain will rot.  Then again, maybe you want to be like Vincent Van Gogh (and yes, I know there might have been a genetic explanation).

If you see anything you like, tell me.  If you've got new info for me to put on the site, show me, I'll make sure you get the right credit.  Well, enough about this stuff, tell me what you think, help this become something more than the emptiness that it currently is.
